The Mackay & District 4WD Club holds its General Meeting monthly, starting at 7:30pm on the 2nd Monday of each month (except January). The location for the General Meeting is:

Visitors are more than welcome to General Meetings. Please introduce yourself to one of the committee members when you arrive. Members and visitors alike usually enjoy a meal at the Bowls Club before the meeting.
At the General Meeting, the formal business of the club is conducted with reports on finances, membership, technical, trip & social and driver training, as well as any general business items. There is usually a guest speaker whose presentation to members provides some interesting information on matters generally relating to four wheel driving, camping or similar topics. There are also presentations by members of their recent trips which are usually shown on the clubs projector.
Following the meeting, members and visitors generally stay on to chat about their latest escapades in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Members also benefit from great discounts from various sponsors of the club which can include such things as tyres, radios and navigation, camping gear and mechanical work
